Cinnamon Spice Coconut Oil Chocolate Bark
This is a delicious and reasonably healthy twist on classic chocolate bark. The coconut oil and spices take it up a notch! In a word? Yum!

Instructions
  1. Melt coconut oil in medium-sized saucepan over low heat.
  2. Whisk in the maple syrup, cocoa powder, pumpkin pie spice, and most of the zest of ginger and orange peel.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in half of the pecans and almonds.
  4. Pour concoction on parchment-lined plate, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle remaining pecans, almonds, and zests on top. Press into place with a spatula.
  6. Chill in freezer for 20 minutes.
  7. Since this melts quickly, store in freezer and consume chilled.

I love chocolate bark, and this recipe using healthier ingredients makes it extra special. And then the spices and zests? OMG. It's a whole new level of yum!

Feel free to change this recipe up. Keep the constant of the coconut oil, cocoa powder, and maple syrup, but then you can mix up the type of nuts, add dried fruits, or even other seasonings.
