You’re an active, adventurous woman in midlife who has held it together for everyone else.

To the observer, you look like you have it all together.

But somewhere along the line, the unique pressures of midlife have caught up with you and it’s gotten harder to keep your stress under wraps.

Do any of these ring true for you?

  • You’re irritable.
  • Anxiety and stress have got you tied up in knots.
  • You lay your head on your pillow at night but can’t seem to turn off the mind chatter.
  • You feel like you’re a wee bit crazy.
  • Insomnia (sound familiar?).
  • You try to self-soothe with food or other substances.
  • You’re carrying a little extra weight around your middle.
  • Your breathing feels strained.
  • Digestive issues are a real thing.
  • You’ve got unexplainable aches and pains.
  • Libido? What’s that?
  • So much fatigue.
  • Crying jags? Yeah, me too.

I thought these symptoms were just the cross I had to bear and were normal and expected for women my age.

I felt weak and embarrassed to admit I was experiencing these things. As a Christian woman, I thought I should “have it all together.”

I’m Julie, a midlife woman who knows the stresses of this stage of life. As a Health and Wellness Coach, I’ve helped women around the world through workshops, one-on-one coaching, group coaching, and retreats. Helping women stress less is my jam!

Through experiences and conversations with clients over the years, I’ve learned that my experiences with stress were not unique. Active, adventurous women can be really good at putting on a strong front, but behind closed doors they’re wondering what the heck is going on inside of them.

Stress can show up in multiple ways. I’ve learned that it takes a holistic approach to address it.

As I continue to work through my own issues, I’ve learned that a 3-step process is best for me and my clients.

First, we take a look at how our thoughts are impacting us. Then we work on putting powerful lifestyle practices into place. All the while, we’re addressing our soul’s deepest cries as we ground ourselves in the wisdom of our Creator.

“A heart at peace gives life to the body.”

~ Proverbs 14:30

Monica, who was feeling the weight of stress, says,

“As someone who lives abroad, my lifestyle is anything but typical… more than anything, I wanted to get healthy – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. With Juile’s help, I’ve kicked the meds and instead, use tools she’s given me to handle difficult times. Asking Julie to be my coach was a decision that will benefit me for the rest of my life.”

Or how about Renee’, who was ready to do the work…

“I didn’t want shortcuts or an easy way out. I wanted lifestyle modifications that could be incorporated into my busy schedule and still get results. I’m forever grateful for having the chance to meet with Julie.”

Nayibe had epiphanies that led her to reduced stress…

“Julie taught me a lot about hormones, about my sleep/caffeine, and the importance of positive self talk… I realize my body is pretty cool… I talk differently to myself and don’t beat myself up when I have a bad moment or day. Julie has a gift to relate to others and encourage them without being pushy. I was thankful for the accountability and space to grow.

It’s a gift to see women spring back to life as the oppression of their stress is lifted. I work with go-getter women who are ready to do the mind, body, and soul work. They’re ready to start living life with joy and passion again. These women are an inspiration.

I wrote a new story for my life.
I can help you write a new story for your life, too.
I help women in midlife put powerful lifestyle practices into place so they can stress less and enjoy life more.
